Crop dusting is one of the most dangerous aviation activities due to the low-level flying required in complex environments filled with obstacles. Pilots face significant risks, including collisions with power lines, semi-trucks, farm equipment, fences, and trees. Controlled flight into terrain is a constant threat, making crop dusting a perilous profession.

Aerial application of pesticides and fertilizers is not only hazardous but also costly for farmers. Many opt to self-apply these substances using their own equipment, exposing themselves to harmful chemicals and causing damage to their crops and root systems by driving over fields. Luumar offers a safer, more cost-effective alternative through the use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). Our unmanned aircraft can perform precise, low-level agricultural applications without putting human lives at risk. We ensure efficient and accurate delivery of pesticides and fertilizers, reducing the need for farmers to expose themselves to hazardous chemicals.

Performance: Spreading range: 4.5 to 7 meters (14.7 to 23 feet) depending on material type and settings.

Our agricultural operations utilize advanced RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) technology, combined with our aircraft’s GPS system, to enhance delivery accuracy down to mere centimeters. By triangulating data from 24 satellites and referencing a ground-based station, we continuously update the aircraft’s exact position. This allows us to apply products with unparalleled precision, ensuring minimal drift and optimal placement.
