A compliant training system can include initial and recurrent training, testing, completion standards, ground and flight training, emergency procedures, operating limitations, lost-link procedures, and specialized training for particular operations.WHEN YOU JOIN LUUMAR Qualified operators complete Luumar's established training and qualification program and remain current within the Luumar system. Luumar already maintains the program and its qualification structure; you become part of it.

DID YOU KNOW? Where required by your exemption, knowing how to fly is not enough. The operation must be able to demonstrate that each pilot successfully completed the applicable training, testing, knowledge, and skill requirements.WHEN YOU JOIN LUUMAR Training, testing, evaluation, and qualification records for Luumar personnel are generated and maintained within Luumar's personnel qualification system. You complete the requirements; Luumar manages the aviation record system that proves completion and currency.

DID YOU KNOW? Your exemption may place continuing responsibility on the certificate holder to keep every aircraft in a condition for safe operation and to follow applicable manufacturer operating limitations, maintenance instructions, service bulletins, inspections, replacement intervals, and life limits.WHEN YOU JOIN LUUMAR Aircraft accepted into Luumar's operation enter Luumar's established maintenance-monitoring system. Luumar already tracks the aviation maintenance requirements and records for aircraft operating within the system; you are not building a second program from scratch.

DID YOU KNOW? If an inspection identifies a condition that affects safe operation, the aircraft cannot simply continue flying. The discrepancy must be addressed and the aircraft returned to a condition for safe flight, with the required maintenance documentation maintained.WHEN YOU JOIN LUUMAR Aircraft operating within Luumar use Luumar's discrepancy and maintenance-record process. The operator identifies the issue and ensures appropriate maintenance is accomplished; Luumar's aviation system tracks the status, documentation, and return-to-operation process.

DID YOU KNOW? A professional Part 137 operation needs records that demonstrate the continuing qualification of its pilots and aircraft. Records matter after the certificate is issued, because the FAA can ask the operator to show how the operation remains qualified and current.WHEN YOU JOIN LUUMAR Qualified operators and accepted aircraft become part of Luumar's centralized personnel and aircraft records system. Luumar monitors applicable qualification, currency, maintenance, and documentation status so problems are found before they become a job-day surprise.

DID YOU KNOW? Your exemption may require specific operating documents to be accessible at the operation and available to the FAA or other authorized officials upon request. Keeping the files only back at the office may not satisfy that requirement.WHEN YOU JOIN LUUMAR Luumar personnel operating Luumar missions use Luumar's controlled operating-document system. The approved/current documents are made available through the system used for the operation; you do not have to invent a separate document-distribution process.

DID YOU KNOW? A Part 137 certificate does not automatically authorize every field or every piece of airspace. The applicable exemption and COA determine where and how the operation may be conducted, and some missions require additional FAA airspace authorization or coordination.WHEN YOU JOIN LUUMAR For Luumar missions, the airspace and regulatory side of the operation is handled through Luumar's aviation system. Where additional authority is required and available, Luumar manages the applicable FAA coordination and authorization process for the Luumar operation.

DID YOU KNOW? Your exemption may require a formal site-inspection process before operations. That can include identifying obstacles, nearby airports or aviation activity, access-control concerns, and other conditions that affect how the mission must be conducted.WHEN YOU JOIN LUUMAR Luumar already has standardized mission-planning and site-evaluation procedures. Qualified operators are trained to use those procedures and conduct the mission within Luumar's operating system rather than designing a new process for every job.

DID YOU KNOW? Your Section 44807 exemption and the COA issued with it can both contain continuing FAA reporting requirements. Some COAs require monthly operational reports - including reports for months with zero flights - while your exemption may separately require reporting of incidents, accidents, operational-boundary deviations, or other specified events. FAA reporting may come from more than one place, with different triggers, deadlines, and destinations.WHEN YOU JOIN LUUMAR For operations conducted within Luumar, you are not hiring Luumar to manage the reporting requirements of your independent certificate. You become part of the Luumar operation, where the required FAA reporting processes are already established and managed. You provide accurate operational information through Luumar procedures, and Luumar tracks, compiles, and manages the regulatory reporting for the Luumar operation so you can focus on flying, spraying, and serving the customer.

DID YOU KNOW? For agricultural UAS over 55 pounds operating under Section 44807 authority, the applicable exemption/COA framework governs the airspace and operating authority. Under Luumar's current exemption, all operations must be conducted under an applicable ATO-issued COA; the blanket COA is for VLOS operations only, and a new or amended COA is required when the mission cannot be conducted under its terms. Losing visual line of sight does not automatically authorize continued flight.WHEN YOU JOIN LUUMAR This is where Luumar can add capability, not just reduce administrative burden. Where FAA approval is available, Luumar can manage the process for additional controlled- airspace authority. Luumar also holds limited BVLOS relief under its current exemption. Qualified operators can be trained, evaluated, and qualified under Luumar's procedures to conduct applicable limited-BVLOS missions within Luumar's system and applicable FAA authorizations. Luumar trains and qualifies operators for this authority; it does not issue an independent BVLOS certificate.

DID YOU KNOW? Receiving the certificate and exemption does not end the holder's responsibility. The operator must continue complying with the applicable Conditions and Limitations, COA, and pertinent regulations, and failure to comply can threaten the operating authority.WHEN YOU JOIN LUUMAR Luumar is built as an ongoing aviation operating system - manuals, training, qualification, maintenance oversight, records, reporting, safety processes, and internal oversight are continuously managed. Joining does not make anyone automatically compliant; qualified operators stay compliant by following Luumar's system and procedures.
